What is a holistic health consultation? It involves an integrative, patient centered approach where you, the patient, are met, seen, and heard. In 35 years’ working as a pharmacist in a wide variety of situations, the last 11 years specialising in Anthroposophic Medicine I have extended and grown my scope of practice from mainstream pharmaceutical skills to encompass the herbal, homeopathic, and anthroposophic pharmacopeia. Combining training in conventional pharmacy with that of homeopathic and herbal traditions gives an understanding of the benefits and cautions when using complementary options alongside conventional medicines, and to know what is needed for any given situation.
In 2004 I trained as a Bowen practitioner.
Study of sustainable agriculture and especially bio-dynamics has given me the window into nutrition and lifestyle and their central place in good health and well-being.
In my practice I use Anthroposophic, classical homeopathic, homeobotanical and flower essence remedies alongside Bowen Therapy. Supplements can be very helpful to build a strong physical body as the house for our life, soul, and spirit to thrive in.
I am passionate about developing remedies from the plant and mineral gifts that our own country has to offer. My range of remedies and skincare products is imbued with my spirit, to give an ongoing source of healing impulse for you to tap into.
I live on 6ha of land west of Hastings. My companions include my dogs, some geese, sheep, and cattle. I am happy to consider animal health queries and also the use of Anthroposophic remedies for use in the bio-dynamic practice of caring for our land.
Healing Lands, as my brand, came about in 2001 as I finished a certificate in organic growing. There exists a mutual healing relationship between human beings and the earth.
My life is balanced spending time growing plants, making my products, consulting with clients, working as a locum pharmacist, and with my dogs studying life and the cosmos from the verandah…..
